Central Academy “mathletes” finished first in the 2013 Collaborative Problem-Solving Contest, a mathematics contest administered by National Assessment & Testing. Earlier this month, Central learned it finished 5th in the Mandlebrot math competition, besting some of the nation’s top-ranked high schools.
Eight math competitors from Central Academy finished in fifth place recently in the Mandelbrot Team Play national competition.
