7th and 8th grade students take final exams during their regularly scheduled classes the week of January 11 – 15, specific dates determined by the classroom teacher.
High school students take finals on a special schedule: Tuesday, January 12 blocks 3 & 4; Wed. Jan 13 blocks 5 & 6; Thurs. Jan 14 blocks 1 & 2; Friday Jan 15 blocks 7 & 8. Click headline for details on exam times.
The next Parent Academy is Tuesday, January 12 from 6 to 7 PM at Central Academy. Choose from two of the following Topics: Every Student Succeeds Act and Gifted Education; GT Sophomores should consider the IB Diploma Programme; AP Exam ordering; 8th grade High School Credit Options; 8th grade student project displays from Government class. Even though tomorrow is the first day of Winter, it was still a good day for sailing as Prep Academy students held their annual cardboard boat races. The 100 Prep Academy representing each DMPS middle school participate in the team-building event. Congratulations to the Yehet Squad, an all-female team of maritime engineers on winning this year’s cardboard boat crown. Click the photo at left to see more.
