AP Exam Fees
The last day students can change their AP Exam order through their College Board account is November 1. But the AP Administrator at your school can still make changes without incurring fees until November 15.
After November 15 every change to your AP exam order is charged a $40 fee. So, we can still order exams after November 15, they will just cost $139 ($99 for the exam + $40 Late order fee). (This does not include Macroeconomic classes that begin in the second semester. If you are taking that class in Semester 2, you only pay for the normal cost of the exam– no late order fee.)
We can cancel exams after November 15, but we must pay $40 for a canceled exam instead of the full price of $99.
- So, if your exam is fully paid and you cancel the exam you get a refund of $59 ($99 – $40).
- Or if you only paid the $40 deposit, then we use the deposit to pay the cancelation fee.
- Or if you were counting on the grant to pay for your exam, you will owe the $40 cancelation fee (the grant does not pay fees & only pays if you take the exam).
PAYING FEES ONLINE
Unfortunately, we are unable to process electronic payments until next week, Wednesday 11/6, due to a system conversion. Our district is moving to InTouch Receipting system which will replace the Infinite Campus fees module. Bad timing for AP exam ordering. Please know the deadline has been extended to November 15 for paying deposits online.
GRANT QUALIFICATIONS
We use the Household Economic Survey to determine if students qualify for the grant that pays for AP exams. If you think you qualify but your fees have not been exempted in Infinite Campus, or if your family has not completed the Household Economic Survey yet, parents can still apply.
CHECK YOUR AP EXAM ORDER
The most accurate place to see if an AP Exam has been ordered for you is by logging in to your College Board account at https://myap.collegeboard.org. AP Administrators have been and will continue to make changes to the school’s order through November 15. I recommend checking your order on November 15, just to be sure it is the way you intend it.
If you see any problems, contact the AP Administrator in your school where your exam is ordered:
