Senior Recognition Ceremony

Dear Seniors and families of the Academy class of 2024,

Central Academy will celebrate our seniors on Sunday, April 14, at 2:00 PM at Scottish Rite Consistory, 519 Park Street in downtown Des Moines. Seniors and their families are welcome to attend. A reception follows the ceremony.

Please check-in between 1:30 and 1:55. We will read the names of students in attendance. So, it is important that you check in, so we know to call you.

There are two parking garages nearby: at the corners of 6th and Center Streets and 7th and Center Streets. I was told that parking is free on Sundays. There is also on-street parking (which is also free on Sundays).

The handicapped entrance is on the East side of the Consistory. There is an alleyway on the East side with a side door. An Academy staff member will be at the side door to assist people who need to use this entrance.

If you are unable to attend, you will receive your certificate and commemorative program next week when you come to Academy. We also plan to record the ceremony and publish on YouTube.

The Academy Senior Recognition Ceremony is such a wonderful celebration of our students! You don’t want to miss it!
