Meal Service Change for Out of District students
Dear Central Campus students and families,
Starting Thursday, January 18, students will need to swipe their school ID badge to get meals in the Central Cafeteria. One consequence of this change is that our out-of-district students must begin paying for their meals because they do not meet the Community Eligibility requirements that make meals free to DMPS students.
I have spoken with the Food and Nutrition department about this change. They assured me that if parents are unaware of this change OR have not put money into their students accounts by tomorrow, we will make sure that all students are able to eat breakfast and/or lunch,
If your child receives free or reduced priced meals in your home district, please email the DMPS Director of Food and Nutrition, amanda.miller@dmschools.org with the name of your home school and district. She will add your status to our system.
These are the current student prices in the cafeteria:
- Breakfast $1.95
- Lunch $3.20
- Snack $1.20
