Mathletes Take First Place in Platteville Wisconsin!
We are pleased to announce that Central Academy earned first place at the 50th Annual High School Mathematics Contest held at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on Wednesday, November 1.
Central mathematicians won 24 of the 42 Division I All-Academic Team honors. Five math faculty members coached the 86 Academy math students who participated in the contest.
The event featured over 500 students representing over forty high schools from Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. Students competed on either Level I (10th grade and below) or Level II (11th and 12th grade).
