Circulate the Love

Dear Central Academy students, families and staff,

The American Red Cross will be joining us on Friday, February 11th to host a blood drive. We are asking that you sign up to help save lives.

Currently, the US is facing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The Red Cross has seen a 10% decrease in blood donations since the beginning of the pandemic, leaving the blood supply incredibly scarce. Despite the limited supply, the large number of people who rely on blood transfusions remain. Blood donation is vital to ensure that the people who need transfusions can get it wherever and whenever they need it.

Please roll up your sleeve and help get people the care they need, please sign up to donate.

The drive will be held on February 11th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Central gym balcony. You must be 17 or older to donate without a parent signature and 16 with the parental consent form. Parental Consent Blood Donation EN

This blood drive is not limited to CA students and staff; if you know someone who may be interested, send them a link! Sign up at: https://tinyurl.com/CABlood2022
