Academy Schedules Released Early

​Dear Central Academy Students and Families,

After this morning’s Academy newsletter was posted, it was decided that Central Campus schedules had to be published to support coordination of their Hybrid courses.  Campus and Academy are sister programs– we are linked in Infinite Campus.  So, when Campus’ schedules were published, so were Academy’s.

This means that you can see your Term 1 (first 9-weeeks) Academy schedule in Infinite Campus now. I’m comfortable with that because we are only making small adjustments this week to fix scheduling conflicts with home school schedules.

Some important things to note:

We only published Term1 classes– not the whole semester– we’re working to get Infinite Campus to open Term 2 as soon as possible to lessen confusion. We have Term 2 ready to go, but only Academy Term 1 schedules were published when Campus was opened because they are using a different term cycle to accommodate their unusual requirements for certification courses.

Until Term 2 is published, please do NOT assume that you are not scheduled for a class you requested. Term 1 only has half your classes. Just remember, just because you can’t see it yet, doesn’t mean it’s not there. We’ll get it published ASAP.

Your home school schedule will not be published until August 28, as planned.

Your Academy schedule may still change as we correct scheduling conflicts with your home school classes.
