Youth Voice Forum Continues Online

Dear Students and Parents,
You may recall that Roosevelt’s Student Council ran a student forum with Democratic presidential candidates back in September. The theme of this event focused on ‘Youth Voice’, and allowed students from across Iowa to ask questions about issues important to them.
As summer begins, Roosevelt Student Council plans to continue the ‘Youth Voice’ series by organizing similar forums online over Zoom. These digital sessions will allow Iowa students to hear scheduled speakers from the comfort of their homes, while asking questions live.
While students across Iowa and beyond will be welcome to watch each session, question submissions by DMPS students will be given the utmost preference. Students of all ages are encouraged to sign up in order to attend these events online for free.
