Vigil for Kevin Truong, Class of 2018

​Dear Central Academy students and families:

Kevin Truong was a 2018 graduate of North High School who took several classes at Central Academy.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Kevin Truong on July 4.  Kevin graduated from North High School in 2018 and took many classes at Central Academy and Campus.  He was a beloved student and good friend. Kevin’s younger brother, Kalen, will be a senior this fall.

For those who knew Kevin and would like to come together to remember him, we will be having a vigil on Friday, July 5, at 1:00 in the Central Academy lobby.  There is no planned program aside from just being together in our grief and remembering Kevin. Grief counselors will be on hand.

Infinite Campus will only allow me to send this message to students who will be enrolled next fall.  Members of the graduating classes of 2018 and 2019 will not be reached with this message.  If you know people who were friends of Kevin’s, please help me in passing the word.

Parking is allowed in the lot at 19th and Grand, the staff lot west of Academy on Grand, and the student lot a little further west on Grand. There are also some spaces behind Campus and in the parking garage on levels D, C, B and A– enter from the East side of Campus and use the road that runs behind the school to access the parking garage.
