Academy Alum visits from MIT

2011 graduate, Alex Feldstein is working on his Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering at MIT.  He came back today to discuss how he uses mathematical modeling in his job everyday with Mr. Marcketti’s  Advanced Mathematical Problem Solving class. Many of the problems the students have been working on recently used similar problem solving strategies that Mr. Feldstein uses in Aerospace Engineering. “An undergraduate engineering degree is useful in any field including modeling political outcomes, working at tech companies like Google or Facebook, and entering traditional fields like Law and Medicine.”
