Students attend World Food Prize as part of GYI

Global Food PrizeMaggie Norland, Jonathan Le, Parker Bratz, , Nosa Ali, Anna Barcus, and Mercedies Palmer didn’t have to travel far to join 200 students representing high schools across the country and around the globe this month in Des Moines at the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute. They earned their spots individually last Spring in Ames at the Iowa Youth Institute, when they presented to a panel of experts on food security in underdeveloped countries.
