8th Grade Close Up Trip Opportunity
All Des Moines Public Schools 8th graders are invited to participate in a student trip to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia over spring break. The trip takes place Sunday, March 13 to Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Close Up is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that works with students and educators to promote active citizenship. Close Up has 40 years of experience in history education. Fill out the attached 8th Grade DC Trip Information Form and return it to your child’s 8th Grade Civics teacher on or before September 18th. If your 8th grader takes Government and Current Events at Academy, the teacher is Diane Fox.
