Manivanh Accepted to Harvard!

 Senior Theresa Manivanh has a big grin on her face today!  Last night she was notified that she has been accepted to Harvard University next fall!  Theresa is an athlete and a scholar. Currently a member of the Roosevelt swim team, this year she taking advanced placement English, Physics C, and Macroeconomics, as well as IB Chemistry, Linear Algebra & Differential Equations, Advanced German and Advanced Graphic Communications.  She is a natural leader doing volunteer work and fundraisers for Students Against Hunger.   She also brightens the learning environment in her classes.  “Theresa is incredibly talented and dynamic young person. She is a student who always keeps busy and never rests. She seems to have limitless energy and a great enthusiasm for working with people to affect positive change,” says Ms. Karbeling who has been her Physics teacher for two of the Physics classes Theresa has taken.
