Are We Global Yet?

Mr. Voshell and Mr. Danielson took their Social Studies classes to Drake last Wednesday. They  studied cultural and political globalization first semester, and we’re about to study economic globalization, so attending the exhibit in the Anderson Gallery at Drake, which is titled Are We Global Yet?  Art and Politics of Public Space (including the virtual).  The exhibit was created by the senior capstone class in the art department at Drake and addressed the themes of globalization, public space, social and political protest, identity, and the use of technology.  They also attended a lecture on globalization by Dr. Matthew Mitchell and Dr. Jeff Kappen of the College of Business and Public Administration.
