IB Overview 2016

8th Grade High School Credit Options:  Every 8th graders who earns an A or B for the semester will automatically get high school credit for the class.  However, if parents request it, we can also give credit for a C or not give credit for a B.  This document explains the pros and cons for either decision.  Parents have 2 weeks after grades come out to decide if they want us to change the automatic process for their child.  8th Grade Credit

 

AP Exam Registration: Students who are taking AP classes (usually 9 – 12 grade students) may start to register for the AP Exams on January 19.  See the attached document that explains how AP Exam registration works for DMPS students.  Out of District students who attend Academy classes order and pay for their AP Exams in the Central Academy office.  AP EXAM ORDERING
